This is a platform-specific operational draft, adapted to robotics marketplace risks and Australian consumer principles. It should be reviewed by an Australian lawyer before the public production launch or acceptance of paid plans.
01 Platform role
RoboIchiba operates an online robotics directory, classified marketplace, content and enquiry-routing service. Unless a listing expressly states otherwise, RoboIchiba is not the seller, manufacturer, distributor, auctioneer, broker, payment provider or contracting party for a product or service shown on the platform.
A buyer and seller contract directly with each other. RoboIchiba may facilitate discovery, comparison, enquiries, moderation and introductions, but does not automatically verify every technical statement or guarantee that a transaction will complete.
02 Eligibility and accounts
You must provide accurate, current information, keep login credentials secure and use the account type that reflects your actual role. Business users must be authorised to act for the organisation they represent.
RoboIchiba may review, restrict or suspend accounts where identity, authority, safety, payment, sanctions, misuse or legal compliance concerns arise.
03 Listings and seller obligations
Sellers must have the right to offer the item and must accurately describe manufacturer, model, condition, ownership, serial details, operating history, safety status, price, location, availability and known defects. Images must represent the offered item or be clearly identified as manufacturer imagery.
Performance, certification, payload, accuracy, runtime, ingress protection, collaborative operation and regulatory claims must have reasonable supporting evidence. Test conditions and configuration limits must be disclosed where they materially affect a claim.
04 Company profiles, claims and logos
Listed Company means a free directory record created by RoboIchiba and does not indicate endorsement, verification, an authorised distributorship or partnership. Verified Company means the organisation has claimed the profile and passed a manual identity review. Sponsored Company means a verified company has an active paid annual promotion package; sponsored placement is labelled.
Names, trade marks and logos remain the property of their owners. A company claiming a profile warrants that it is authorised to upload and publish its brand assets. RoboIchiba may use neutral text or initials until an authorised asset is supplied and may remove material following a credible rights complaint.
05 Buying, selling and due diligence
Buyers should independently inspect equipment, confirm identity and title, check hidden finance or security interests, validate serial numbers, request service and safety records, verify software licences and confirm exactly what is included before payment.
Parties contract and settle directly with each other and are responsible for agreeing price, taxes, freight, insurance, import or export controls, acceptance testing, commissioning, warranties, returns, payment security and dispute procedures in writing. RoboIchiba currently does not collect, hold in escrow or verify buyer–seller transaction funds.
06 Robotics safety and compliance
Robots can create crushing, impact, cutting, electrical, battery, thermal, fire, cybersecurity, privacy and autonomous-motion risks. A listing or Verified badge is not a safety certification, engineering approval or confirmation that a system is suitable for a particular workplace.
The buyer, owner, integrator and operator remain responsible for applicable laws and standards, risk assessment, guarding, functional safety, emergency stops, hazardous-area suitability, electrical work, cybersecurity, training, commissioning, maintenance and safe operation.
07 Search, recommendations and sponsored content
Organic recommendations may use product family, category, function, location and other relevance signals. Sponsored Companies may receive labelled homepage exposure, featured placement, priority ranking, sponsored articles, product promotion, banners, lead analytics and RFQ priority.
Payment does not convert a company into a verified manufacturer and does not influence the meaning of a Verified badge. RoboIchiba retains editorial and moderation control and does not guarantee impressions, leads, enquiries, sales or a particular ranking duration.
08 Fees, credits and plans
Listed Company is free. Verification and sponsorship workflows, any annual fees, promotional credits and paid services are governed by the package or written order agreed with RoboIchiba. These platform-service and sponsorship fees are separate from product transaction funds. Verified Companies ordinarily receive one promoted-post credit per month and Sponsored Companies eight, unless an administrator-approved package states otherwise.
Unused monthly credits expire and are not redeemable for cash. Content remains subject to moderation even when a credit is available.
09 Enquiries, leads and communications
When you submit an enquiry, RoboIchiba may provide the relevant details to the intended supplier or service provider and retain the interaction for delivery, moderation, security and analytics. Recipients must use lead information only for the enquiry and lawful follow-up.
Users must not send spam, scrape contact details, evade platform safeguards, impersonate another person or use communications for unlawful or misleading conduct.
10 User content and licence
You retain ownership of material you submit. You grant RoboIchiba a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, moderate, translate, display and distribute that material only as reasonably required to operate, promote and improve the platform and your listing or company presence.
You warrant that submitted material is accurate, lawful and does not infringe intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy or publicity rights.
11 Prohibited conduct
You must not list stolen, counterfeit, unlawfully exported, sanctioned, unsafe or deliberately misdescribed equipment; interfere with platform security; introduce malware; automate scraping without permission; manipulate reviews or ranking; or use RoboIchiba to facilitate unlawful surveillance, weapons activity or other prohibited use.
12 Moderation and removal
RoboIchiba may request evidence, edit formatting, label content, pause, reject, remove or archive listings, company profiles, articles and advertising where reasonably necessary for quality, safety, rights protection, legal compliance or platform integrity. Urgent removal may occur without advance notice.
13 Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies rights, guarantees or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including those available under the Australian Consumer Law. Consumer guarantees may differ between a sale by a business and a one-off private sale.
Where a supplier is responsible for a product or service problem, users should first contact that supplier. RoboIchiba may assist with records or contact routing but is not automatically responsible for the supplier's obligations.
14 Information, availability and liability
Specifications, reference prices, translations, availability, valuations and recommendations may contain errors or become outdated. Users must make an independent assessment and obtain a current supplier quotation and engineering advice before relying on them.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RoboIchiba excludes liability for indirect or consequential loss and for conduct, products or services of independent users. Any liability that cannot be excluded is limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15 Privacy and data handling
RoboIchiba collects account, company, listing, enquiry, usage and moderation information to provide and secure the platform, connect parties, administer plans and improve services. Information may be processed by service providers, including providers located outside Australia, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
Users may contact RoboIchiba to request access or correction. Additional privacy notices may apply to specific forms or services.
16 Changes, termination and governing law
RoboIchiba may update these Terms by publishing a revised version and effective date. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance where permitted by law. Provisions concerning content rights, payments, liability and disputes survive account closure where their nature requires it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia. Courts with jurisdiction in Western Australia have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Contact RoboIchiba at hello@roboichiba.com, +61 402 888 569, or Level 25, 108 St Georges Terrace, Perth WA 6000.
